Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and conscientious Product Data Coordinator to extract product information from our PIM (Product Information Management) system and accurately transfer it into formatted spreadsheets for retailer upload (e.g., Lowe's Home Pro platform).

This role is not purely data entry-success requires a critical eye, strong judgment, and the ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, or missing information before data is submitted externally.


Key Responsibilities

  • Extract product data from the internal PIM system and transfer it into designated spreadsheet templates
  • Ensure all required fields are accurately populated according to retailer specifications (e.g., Lowe's Home Pro requirements)
  • Validate product data for completeness, correctness, and formatting consistency
  • Identify discrepancies, anomalies, or incomplete data and take appropriate action:
    • Correct data when appropriate and within guidelines
    • Escalate or clarify issues with internal stakeholders when needed
  • Maintain data integrity across systems and files
  • Adhere to naming conventions, formatting standards, and submission timelines
  • Perform quality checks prior to final submission to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Document recurring data issues and recommend improvements to processes

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in data management, product data coordination, or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas, data validation)
  • Experience working with databases or PIM systems preferred
  • Familiarity with retail product data requirements or eCommerce platforms is a plus
